Özyeğin University and SKD Türkiye Celebrate First Graduates of SustainHUB Academy

SustainHUB Academy, a joint initiative by Özyeğin University and the Business and Sustainable Development Association (SKD Türkiye), has successfully completed its first term. Launched in April 2025, the six-week program offered professionals aspiring to specialize in sustainability the opportunity for theoretical and practical development. Graduates received their certificates in a special ceremony and earned the opportunity for one-on-one mentorship from senior executives of SKD Türkiye member companies, with four sessions over the course of a year.

Designed to provide a real-world sustainability experience, SustainHUB Academy was delivered in a hybrid format, spanning seven modules and 80 hours of training. The program blended theory, case studies, and practical exercises, offering participants a unique learning experience led by Özyeğin University faculty and industry experts. Leading companies in sustainability, including Sabancı Holding, Garanti BBVA, Koç Holding Arçelik, Zorlu Holding Vestel, Boyner Group, PepsiCo, and Turkcell, analyzed best practice examples in sustainability across diverse sectors with participants.
