The second event of the panel series “ThoughtFront: Conversations Shaping Business” organized by the Faculty of Business and the Graduate School of Business at Özyeğin University kicks off on October 2.

The panel titled “From Markets to Models: Managing Risk under Uncertainty” will bring together renowned academics and industry leaders to address key issues in today’s financial world. Covering a wide range of topics—from portfolio management, asset pricing, and investment strategies to risk management in banking—the event will provide a comprehensive framework for coping with uncertainty in modern finance through big data and advanced statistical modeling methods.

Moderated by Assistant Professor Emrah Ahi from the International Finance Program at Özyeğin University, the panelists will include Mehmet Gerz, CEO at Osmanlı Portföy; Assistant Professor Levent Güntay, Director of the Center for Computational Finance at Özyeğin University; Dr. Tolga Durdu, Managing Partner at Accelera Business Solutions and Executive Advisor at Fibabanka; and Assistant Professor Han Özsöylev, faculty member of the International Finance Program at Özyeğin University.
