Özyeğin University President Prof. Barış Tan met with students of Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anatolian High School at the school’s invitation on March 25, 2026.

The meeting offered high school students a firsthand look at university life, emerging approaches to education, and evolving career pathways. Drawing on President Tan’s insights, students discovered the power of interdisciplinary thinking and gained a deeper understanding of the competencies that will shape the future. The session also created space for an open exchange, allowing students to pose questions and exchange ideas directly with our President. The event sought to strengthen connections between secondary schools and universities, inspire students in charting their academic and professional journeys, and raise their awareness as they prepare for the transition to university life.
