OzU Faculty of Law and Department of Law of University of Mannheim Establish Cooperation

OzU Faculty of Law and Department of Law of University of Mannheim, Germany, have concluded an academic cooperation agreement. The scope of cooperation will include academic and research collaboration alongside Erasmus exchanges for students and faculty.

The University of Mannheim is one of the leading universities in Germany, although not one of the oldest. The university’s distinct profile is characterized by its renowned economic and social sciences which are closely intertwined with humanities, law, mathematics and computer science. The University of Mannheim is also considered one of the most beautiful universities in Germany. The university is mainly located in the Mannheim Palace — the largest baroque palace in Germany.

The Faculty of Law and Economics of University of Mannheim houses the Department of Law known for its specialization in commercial and business law. Close ties to legal and business practice, combined with an interdisciplinary profile in the economic sciences, are hallmarks of the Department of Law.
