Özyeğin University Hosted “Growing Your Business: Exploring Cross Border Opportunities” Event

 

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED), in partnership with Özyeğin University, TOBB and DEİK, organized a Turkish-Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) 2-day B2B event entitled “Growing Your Business: Exploring Cross Border Opportunities” which took place on January 30-31, 2012 in Istanbul, on Özyeğin University Altunizade Campus.

Despite poor weather conditions, this event helped to facilitate meaningful networking opportunities between business owners looking to learn about new market opportunities and business owners looking to internationalize their business across Turkey, Central and Eastern Europe. Speakers at the conference included: Peter Righi- CEED Global Director, Ilhan Yılmaz- Yilmaz & Ciner Law Buro, Mutlu Sevim -Kerten Private Equity, Ali Karabey - 212 Ltd., and Ivaylo Gueorguiev - European Software Institute (ESI) Center Eastern Europe. With over 140 participants, Turkish businessmen and women had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with companies from the CEE region looking for strategic partners and business opportunities with Turkish companies.
