TÜBİTAK Science, Incentive and Special Awards

Dear Faculty Members, 

TÜBİTAK has announced the deadline as February 15, 2018 for application of TÜBİTAK Awards.

TÜBİTAK awards scientists who make significant contributions to the advancement of universal science, and to the development of science and technology in four categories:

• Science Award
• Special Award
• Service Award
• Incentive Award

TWAS Incentive Awards

Upon the changes at terms & conditions for application, alongside individual applications, institutions can also nominate scientists.

For Service Award, scientists should only be nominated by institutions. For Special Award, it is necessary to be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey. For Incentive and TWAS Incentive Awards, only the scientists who are under the age 40 (those who were born after January 1, 1976) are eligible. However, for women scientists who gave birth, one year for each birth is added to the age limit. Researchers who meet the evaluation criteria can also apply to the awards.
